Your First Run
This guide will walk you through running your first AI application on AiFormer. By the end, you'll understand the basic workflow of discovering, configuring, and executing apps.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An AiFormer account (sign up here)
- A verified email address
Step 1: Browse the App Directory
- Log in to your AiFormer dashboard
- Click "Explore Apps" in the sidebar
- Browse available apps or use the search bar
Finding the Right App
Apps are organized by category:
- Content - Writing, summarization, translation
- Analysis - Data processing, insights, reports
- Creative - Images, designs, brainstorming
- Technical - Code generation, documentation
Step 2: Select an App
For this tutorial, let's use the "Email Composer" app:
- Click on the app card to view details
- Review the app description and sample outputs
- Click "Run App" to start
Step 3: Configure Your Run
Each app has a structured input form:
Recipient Type: [Customer / Partner / Internal]
Tone: [Formal / Friendly / Casual]
Purpose: [Follow-up / Introduction / Request]
Key Points: [Your main message points]
Fill in each field according to your needs. The structured format ensures you provide all necessary information.
Step 4: Execute the Run
- Review your inputs
- Click "Generate"
- Wait for the AI to process your request
The execution typically takes 5-30 seconds depending on the complexity.
Step 5: Review and Download
Once complete, you'll see:
- Preview - View the generated content
- Versions - Access previous iterations
- Download - Export in various formats (PDF, DOCX, etc.)
What's Next?
Now that you've completed your first run:
- Try different apps from the directory
- Experiment with different input configurations
- Learn about version history
- Start building your own apps
Troubleshooting
Run takes too long
AI processing depends on the provider and complexity. If a run exceeds 2 minutes, try refreshing the page.
Output quality issues
Try adjusting your inputs to be more specific. The more context you provide, the better the results.
